About

Ahad Amir Lodhi.

I’m a software engineer based in Karachi.

I studied Computer Science at GIK Institute, graduating in 2024. My first job out of university was a management trainee rotation in Dawlance’s R&D team, where I built an automated quality-control system on a Raspberry Pi with OpenCV. It replaced a fully manual inspection process and brought inspection time down from four minutes to under thirty seconds. I was picked as top trainee out of around thirty.

From late 2024 to mid 2026 I was at StitchGrab as a software engineer, where I led the architecture and delivery of a multi-vendor marketplace: Next.js and React on the front, Node.js and TypeScript behind it. I owned the API surface, the Shopify integration, and the delivery routing.

I left in June 2026 to work on Atapata full time. It’s a digital business card app for the Pakistani market, built under my company HydraLabs and incubated at the National Incubation Center at NED University. I’m the only person on it, which means I write the mobile app, the API, and the web, and I also do the design, the pricing, the payments integration, and the marketing.

Outside of that I build things to answer questions I have. StatSnap came from wondering whether I could track basketball players through occlusions without labelling training data. Jobify came from being tired of scrolling LinkedIn.
